Background Information:

In recent years, the global economy has gone through rapid changes that affect our family structure and our society. Due to these changes, the government has introduced a number of policies to protect and safeguard the wellbeing of people. Replacing earlier traditional systems of relief, welfare associations and civil societies have flourished, providing new, more active and more diversified ways to help the people in need. For the past 20 years, our founding chairwoman, Miss Wendy Lin, has engaged in the promotion of Yoga for physical and spiritual development, traveling to Europe, America, Asia, and other places in world to improve her knowledge. Not only she has learned about new techniques and developed new courses of Yoga, she has also learned about how to provide better care and nursing for the elderly and the people in need… She has received inspired insights about the importance of developing body and mind, of social welfare, of businesses protection, and of long-term planning. She has particularly paid attention to the fact that people in society has lost touch with what’s really important in life, ignoring many common social problems.

For these reasons, after a long time of reflection, she brought together multiple resources, and with the support and recognition from the community, she has created a network for helping, taking care, and bring happiness to the less fortunate ones. On November 3rd 1997, the Taipei 3 Doshas Body Mind Spirit Development Association was officially established in Taiwan. The purpose of the association is through the sharing of “knowledge, energy and health” bring love and social cohesion to help and enhance the body, spirit, and quality of life in general of people in disadvantage situations and the elderly.
